Meetings & Events

We meet on a regular basis throughout the school year. Each year we have different presenters host our meetings and sponsor our own professional development. Our average attendance has been between 20-30 members. Our membership includes counselors from all of the Cape Cod Schools, including Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket. In addition, Plymouth, Wareham, and other South Shore counselors also attend.

Our meetings are held at various locations, keeping in mind that our members travel from different parts of the region.

Typical Meeting Agendas

4:00-4:30 PM Registration
4:30-5:00 PM Business Meeting
5:00-5:45 PM Host Presentation
5:45 PM (Approximately) Dinner

At some meetings we will have an additional speaker/organization represented that will provide information of interest to the school counselor on the Cape and Islands.  This speaker will present for about 10 minutes after the business meeting
